Wikipedia Critique Pages

1. All Wikipedia content pages will be periodically scraped and stored into the data base as a "fixed article." Comments created by our users can be associated with an anchor (a subheading, paragraph or phrase) in the article.
2. Users may choose to update the Wikipedia page at anytime for a small charge...5 cents.
3. Any comments that becomes unanchored (due to a change of content) will float to the top...immediately following the lead summary, and the authors will be notified that their comment is afloat and offered an opportunity to reanchor at the most appropriate place the comment at no charge...unless they change the content of the comment, in which case a charge will be incurred.

• Collaborative thesis: These pages can be edited by any registered user. The main body of the article should be edited only by those contributing to defending and sharpening the point of view. Critics are encouraged to together in collaborating on counter arguments, summarized one or more sidebar comments pinned to the appropriate point in the page. The comment may include links to other pages where they might present their arguments together. In short, anyone can edit a sidebar counter argument. Community standards, however, regulate that the sidebar should be used to preserve and sharpen the counterarguments . . . not delete them.

• Personal thesis: Editing the main content of these pages is limited to the owner(s) and their invited editors. But any registered users, can create limited comments including links to other articles. Registered users can edit the comments or any collaborative response pages. The owner of the page may delete or edit or comments, but the deleted comments will be retained in a "Deleted comments" page that is linked to the main page to retain a history of these comments for interested readers. The owner may flag inappropriate, slanderous or profane comments for permanent deletion, a petition that will be reviewed and acted upon by staff when appropriate.
