View source for God isn't a valid scientific explanation

The [[fine-tuned universe]] argument for the existence of God is often met with the response similar to this one: "[https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20210301-how-physics-could-prove-god-exists But God isn't a valid scientific explanation.] The theory of the multiverse, instead, solves the mystery because it allows different universes to have different physical laws. So, it's not surprising that we should happen to see ourselves in one of the few universes that could support life. Of course, you can't disprove the idea that a God may have created the multiverse. " 

But in fact, there is simply no compelling logic to support the claim "God isn't a valid scientific explanation."  Indeed, it is actually illogical for the whole point of logic is to understand the interrelationship between facts and ideas, truth and untruth.

Why do modern scientists believe it is scientific to hypothesize about particles, such as dark matter.  Why not hypothesize God...or at least a pre-existing, uncaused cause for the universe?  

The answer, that God is not testable applies to any theory of the origins of the universe and the underlying structure on which the universe depends and certainly to the arguments for a multiverse.  

Originally, the origins of science, natural philosophy, was the pursuit of understanding cause and effect precisely because of a belief that the first cause, the uncaused cause, God, was unchangeable, therefore the laws of nature were unchangeable.  

In the modern philosophy of science, the only reason to reject the hypothesis of God is simply a bias enforced by a subset of scientists who claim it is unscientific and who mock those who argue that many scientific facts, such as the biofriendly conditions of the universe, point to the existence of God.  It is hubris, not strict logic, that forbids the hypothesis that the fact that anything exists requires the existence of an uncreated creator.

Indeed, if it is true that there are multiverses then it must also be true that there is some mechanism/machine that from which the infinite number of multiverses flow.  And in essence, those favoring this viewpoint are arguing that this multiverse creating machine is the uncreated creator...which Aquinas calls God.
